Enhancing high-level security mandates across core government institutions is essential to building a resilient and trusted digital ecosystem.
The targeted automated DNSSEC rollover campaign focuses on Uganda’s institutional domain categories, including .co.ug, .com.ug, .edu.ug, .go.ug, .mil.ug, .org.ug, .sc.ug, .ne.ug, .net.ug, .nic.ug, and .us.ug, managed within the .ug registry ecosystem, including the relevant technical stakeholders.
The reported data highlights the dominance of algorithm records, with 88.54% (139 out of 157 populated records), alongside the use of ECDSA elliptic-curve cryptography. These developments point to the importance of continued alignment with relevant ICANN and IETF protocols to strengthen DNS security, operational resilience, and confidence in Uganda’s digital infrastructure.
